All the ThinkVantage software is what make the Lenovo computer better than others. From the IBM days until today with Lenovo, they had organized all the Software that brings more functionality to the computer under the Thinkvantage brand. It is all sorted and easy to find, and the great part is that its works.
Thinkvantage It is way better than the HP software suite. HP has is all not well organized, you find it hard to find the last version of the software (HP Update Software do not work to get you the last version). I can tell you this because I had two laptops Lenovo and HP.
About ThinkVantage Access Connection, it is great, I think there is not even a commercial product that can get as good as this. It allows you to have different network profiles, if you are a guy that moves from office to office. On this profiles you can choose, IP, gateways, DNS, and even to change the default printer and what programs should autostart according to the profile that you choose. HP Wireless Assistant can not even compare against the functionality of Access Connections.
What to know a little secret?... I installed Access Connection on my HP notebooks and works great too
